Meet Muschi and Maeuschen, a couple of best friends, residents of Berlin Zoo.

Cat Muschi met now 40 year old Asian bear Maeuschen 8 years ago and they were best friends since. They do everything together, they share raw meat, they sunbathe together, share mice, share fruit, share everything. Nobody knows where she came from. She's a regular domestic cat who one day in 2000 appeared in bear's enclosure, and the two were getting along so much, the zoo officials decided to leave her be.

During 8 years of best friendship, they were only separated once, last October, when Maeuschen living space was renovated so they transferred her to a temporary cage. Muschi sat by the cage all the time, day and night and the happiness only returned to both of their eyes when zookeepers let Muschi in Maeuschen's cage.

Muschi means "pussy" in German, but don't call your wife that
