This is such a pretty story. Actually it starts as a terrible story. Beauty the Bald Eagle was found in Alaska starving to death after a poacher took a shot at her and shot the upper part of her beak off. Having only bottom part of her beaker left and the strong, signature curved part shot off, Beauty the Bald Eagle was unable to grasp food, had major difficulties drinking and couldn't preen her feathers which is an every day ritual for these birds of prey (as well as other bird species). Poor girl was left to slowly starve to death missing important part of her body that allowed her to perform necessary tasks needed to survive.

Beauty the Bald Eagle was found and rescued by a team of volunteers led by Jane Fink Cantwell (how awesome is that name). Nate Calvin from Boise in Idaho used his engineering experience and designed Beauty a new artificial beak, which will serve for now until she's given a newer and better one for permanent use.

This beautiful Bald Eagle was rescued and her life saved, but she will not be released back to the wild. She's spent too much time in care of humans and even with her new artificial beak, it is impossible to mount it on her head so it is strong enough to kill and tear flash.

What a beautiful bird and what a bunch of small dick retards who would take a shot at this protected species. How could anyone be so heartless as to aim a gun at her and pull the trigger. I wish she could speak so she could help us locate the mother fuckers and we would let her sodomize them with her new beak.
