Angie Calgary Age: 23 Posts: 4736	Debra Lafave is that sexy teacher who has had issues in 2004 for sleeping with her then 14 years old student. Ex teacher is now 26 and has been on house arrest since her first sex with a minor (and her student at the same time). And now she's in the shitter again... Because of her wild past with minors, the probation of Debra Lafave states that she's not allowed to have any unsupervised contacts with underage kids. But.... she managed to get engaged in conversations with a 17 years old girl with whom she worked at a restaurant in Tampa. They talked about sex, boys, gossip and such. And so our dear Debra Lafave was arrested again. Her lawyer was defending her as this is what co-workers do. They talk about all kinds of things. Workplace kind of friendship. Which I understand cause that truly is th3e way things are at a workplace. People blabber about things and if you're in your 20s you still blabber about boys and sex and shit. But if I was Debra Lafave, i wouldn't even fart within proximity of any minor until my probation was over. She's still a registered sex offender - which is no joke, but heck... it's was her own fault. She should know better. I know I wouldn't talk to a minor even though I'm not a sex offender. I just have nothing to talk to them about and typically can't stand them anyway, so I'd be just fine. But that dumb ass Debra Lafave should have done the same. And someone should go punch that little 17 years old slut in the face for being such a goddamn rat. Fucking jail baits should be ass raped with a chain saw. Fact of a matter is, that most underage children that are exploited are boys, though. Most sex offenders exploiting underage children are men exploiting boys. Also, I think this case is getting too much attention and Debra LaFave is not the right person to be labeled as "sex offenders". They should focus on real sex offenders, not those who engaged in consensual sex even if it was with minors.

And you can feel free to tell me to shove it and that sex is purely physical but I don't believe that. I believe that there are some mental and emotional aspects to sex that a 14 year old wouldn't necessarily be able to properly comprehend. People who have sex at an early age tend to develope differently, on a mental and emotional scale, than people that have it later in life. I think that it's wrong, no matter what the gender, for a teacher to be having sex with a student. Even leaving my above arguement aside. It's extremely unprofessional and inapropriate.

I have been having regular sex since I was 14 and I turned out fine At 14 the kid already aware of what sex is and it means I dont think as a teacher she should have been sleeping with students I just also wouldnt call the students victims

And, without knowing you very well, I can't judge whether you turned out fine by society's standards are not. Not all 14 year olds are aware of what sex is. I certainly wasn't at that age. I was too busy being focused on other things, art and books and my own creativity to even bother thinking about sex. Just because a 14 year old is aware of sex and knows what it is, doesn't mean they should be having it.

Therefore is is the responsibility of the adult to not allow the situation to occur. I do not classify her in the same category sex offense as a child rapist BUT I believe her to be culpable. MOST countries agree with me. The sentencing is far more harsh toward men who engage in sex with underage girls even though the act was completely consensual. That is another topic for another day.

At 14, I would have slept with my teacher if I had a chance and it would not have harmed me in any way. It was sex, I enjoyed it. I tend to think we're labeling these kids "victims" but they really may not be ones. By no means am I advocating the actions of Debra Lafave though. Whether the student was a victim or not, she's a teacher and she should know better. Personal feelings and attractions should go aside when you're in a professional setting. Anyone remembers Anna Ciriani aka Madameweb thread? This is a perfect example of a good teacher. Very professional. She was a pornstar after school in her spare time, but when she was a teacher, she was a teacher, period. She would never dress slutty and her behavior was such as to not attract attention to herself. She never got involved with a student and even thought she had sex with hundreds of men while performing for adult websites, it was outside of school 100%. And she got fired because of that. If I compare her to Debra Lafave, Debra is clearly a loser here.

As far as I understand, Debra LaFave is yet to appear in court in regards to her probation violation and was ordered to serve her house arrest in the meantime. I definitely don't approve of her behavior when she had sex with her student boy, but now that she got into trouble for talking to a co worker, that seems a little over the top. I don't know. It's just all wrong. She put this on herself though.

For exapmle, when you are 20 something, it is still considered improper to sleep with you 40 year old proffessor.. While it may be fine in the real world to have relations with that type of gap, there is a reason it is on the books as being unallowable.... and I guess there -IS- the fact he was only 14 LOL..
