FACT: Every Woman in Alberta Has Chlamydia

I’m sick and tired of this shit. Every singe woman in Alberta has Chlamydia. You can’t go out and fuck anyone cause they’re gonna give you a nice present. And it always ends up being Chlamydia. I’m already embarrassed to go back to a doctor every single time I’m with some chick. I get symptoms I’m already fully familiar with, I go to have it confirmed through the most unpleasant penile swab procedure, take pills, get myself rid of Chlamydia and have it confirmed that I’m clean with another penis torture and first woman you fuck as a clean man gives it right back to you. They never fail. Every single biotch in Alberta has Chlamydia and they all infect you with it like they’re getting paid for it. And seeing a doc with the same shit over and over every few weeks gets pretty annoying.

Damn I’m ranting but this shit is out of control. It fucking never fails. What do these bitches do to always be so reliably infected with Chlamydia? God damn it, give me a break already. Just once I would want to have sex after which I wouldn’t get all of the Chlamydia symptoms. It’s sickening. It’s like all those women are on the mission to infect every one. Bloody fucking hell, give me a break already.

OK, I’ll try to calm down. Glad to have that shit off my chest. It is irritating though. 100% success rate. Doesn’t matter whether she looks skanky or decent – she’s still gonna give you Chlamydia. I swear they’re on a mission to infect entire Alberta.

Let’s be serious here for a minute, shell we? If you’re a female living in Alberta, you are most likely infected with Chlamydia and are passing it on. Go and get yourself tested. Break the STD spread. It’s not good for you either.

ABOUT CHLAMYDIA

Chlamydia is an STD caused by a bacteria – Chlamydia Trachomatis. You can get infected with Chlamydia through vaginal sex as well as anal sex or oral sex. It can also be passed to a baby during vaginal childbirth. Symptoms are often non existent or very mild hence many people don’t suspect to be STD infected and happily pass that shit on. Chlamydia is considered the most common and the most invisible sexually transmitted disease nowadays.

CHLAMYDIA SYMPTOMS

MALES
- mucous discharge from the penis
- burning during urination
- itchiness of the penis head
- about 50% of males develop no symptoms of Chlamydia

FEMALES
- vaginal discharge
- irregular menstrual bleeding
- strange feeling of discomfort during sexual intercourse
- about 80% develop no symptoms of Chlamydia

Most females only find out about being Chlamydia infected from male partners who suspect an STD infection. However it is easy for Chlamydia to go completely unnoticed. It may stay in your body for years without symptoms causing serious complications. Chlamydia often cause Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID). If untreated, Chlamydia may cause infertility or worse.

HOW IS CHLAMYDIA DETECTED

The most common (and seems like most reliable) way to detect Chlamydia infection is through cervix swab (in women) or urethra swab (in men). Chlamydia can also be detected from blood or urine samples.

CHLAMYDIA TREATMENT

Chlamydia can be easily treated with antibiotics – if detected soon enough. There are single dose antibiotics available for Chlamydia treatment which makes it very convenient cause you only take one white pill and four red pills at the same time and you are done. The effects of the pills stay in your system for 2 weeks fighting Chlamydia bacteria for you. Always make sure your sexual partner(s) get treated too. Otherwise you end up reinfected and continue to spread it onto all your secret fuck buddies.

Most Medicare centers will be able to take care of Chlamydia treatment. Residents of Edmonton can visit The Sexually Transmitted Disease Centre located on following address:

You get Chlamydia even with a condom. Don't worry about what doctors tell you about slim chances of getting infected when using a condom. Chlamydia, just as any other infection spreads through exchange of bodily fluids. No exchange of bodily fluids means no chance of Chlamydia infection. Otherwise you are in potential danger. Proven many a time. Condoms don't work worth shit

condoms won't protect you form Chlamydia 100% but it is as good as it gets. There is some success rate preventing the spread of STDs with use of condoms and since that's all there's available for you when you're going to bed with a stranger, it is assumed safer than with no condom. But since all infection reside on blood, they can be transmitted through exchange of bodily fluids, as you have mentioned. So technically even a mosquito bite can infect you. Such cases are rare though.

It's pretty much impossible to offer any reasonable arguments to this, since so many women go through Chlamydia infection without symptoms. I could be infected for what I know and don't even know it. I know Chlamydia has spread like pestilence and if what you say is true, then we're all to blame. Each time you’re gonna have sex with someone, chances are good their gonna infect you. And it doesn't matter whether you're going with a guy or a girl. Chlamydia is everywhere and it's about time to talk aloud about it. It's a serious issue that needs to be addressed loudly and clearly.

Many people are ashamed to talk about sexually transmitted diseases especially if they happen to be the one caught infected. It's a natural reaction to cure it up silently with as few people knowing as possible. It shouldn't be that way. Chlamydia is a seriously spreading infection and needs to be addressed. Most people on this board have probably had Chlamydia at some point or another and maybe got rid of it and are happy that part of their life is over. It is not. I mean, yes it is, but we as people are far from beating Chlamydia. As a matter of fact we seem to be losing to Chlamydia, considering how many people are infected.

I have to agree with "condom" situation. It looks like so many people use condoms, everybody carries condoms when they're going out, yet Chlamydia spreads like insane. Use of condoms likely slows it down, but doesn't stop it. It is the best you can do when you get caught naked with someone random in bed. But condoms don't make you invincible. Get to know yourself, observe your body and schedule regular checks with your health practitioner when something suspicious is going on within you. Chlamydia is here and it ain't going away anytime soon. We in Alberta are full of this shit. It is everybody's responsibility to get the fuck themselves cured.

This happened to me about 20 years ago. I infected a guy even though I hadn't been with anyone for a couple of years, because I didn't know I had it.

Might be a good idea to ask any girl with whom you want to have a sexual relationship to be tested first. Of course, if you are having one-night stands, then you are sort of asking for it.

condom is better than nothing, but it won't protect you form Chlamydia 100%. Plus, condom doesn't really solve anything. The infected person remains infected and will continue to spread Chlamydia on. Chlamydia needs to be treated and it should be started with swiftly. It's reached epidemic proportions, condoms are no longer a solution. Healing up the infected is. But since sexually transmitted diseases are such a sensitive topic for many people, they tend to not want to admit it or admit to it.

While Im pretty sure that I've never had it, a friend of mine that I met in Nova Scotia told me he got it around 7 times! He told me this hilarious story where he went to get treated and the nurse that was "handling" him was incredibly hot and he got a giant woody while he was there.

Chlamydia situation is pretty bad regardless of where you are, not just in Alberta. When I was leaving Europe, there were estimates that as many as 40% of all people in Germany are infected with Chlamydia. That would mean over 60% of sexually active people. Chlamydia is curable, but it spreads easily and obviously condoms are completely useless in prevention.

I can see where pornask is coming from being so angry. Take a look at this graph I have found on the net:

There's an average 700% more women infected with Chlamydia in Canada then there is men. How is it possible though? How come so many more women are infected than men? This is a significant difference.

The stats graph is form 2002, but if anything, things got worse since then. I'm not surprised pornask is so pissed. If you're a straight man, chances are more than fair you're gonna get infected with Chlamydia each time you sleep with a woman. How did we get to that point?

Provincial Chlamydia infection rates in Alberta are substantially higher than the national rate in Canada.

Following graph shows distribution of Chlamydia cases in Alberta by age group, 2004

obviously, the most infected age groups are 20-24 years old. With number declining as age rises (possibly because people tend to find a solid life partner and don't sleep around as much). It's also interesting to know, that 74% of all females infected with Chlamydia in Alberta are between ages 15 and 24 (young sluts are the ones spreading Chlamydia the most)

Chlamydia remains the most reported sexually transmitted disease (they now tend to call is an STI - Sexually Transmitted Infection, instead) but that apparently doesn't include unreported cases. Statistics only show reported cases of Chlamydia (or Gonorrhea and Syphilis) so the actual number of real people infected, who don't even know they have an STD is likely much higher.

Aboriginal peoples of ALberta make up for 5% of entire Alberta population, but 17% of all reported Chlamydia cases.

so that tells me, that to solve the problem, you gotta start tapping the grannies...

60+ has what looks to be zero cases...then you won't have to worry about it...

Hope that helps

That makes perfect sense. By the time you've reache 60 years of age, you have either cured yourself of STDs or if you haven't, you would have already died. Hence tapping 60 years old is the safest bet.

Problem with that graph is that it shows "reported" cases of Chlamydia in Canada. That's probably why there is a significantly higher number of known infections in women then in men. Because women go to see a doctor much more often than men with non Chlamydia related health services. I'm sure average women go to the gynecologist a couple times a year. Men don't go to see urologists unless there some obvious complication.

That being said - women go to get something unrelated checked and chlamydia also comes back positive. And it counts as reported case of Chlamydia in women. So there is likely an equal number of Chlamydia infected men, they are just not documented so we don't know about them. But that makes it even more dangerous because they will pass the STD without knowing or suspecting.

You guys are so funny.

I was thinking about something, though. Women don't just get it by breathing. So guys are also transmitting it, aren't they?

Of course guys are also transmitting Chlamydia, the only question is who the hell do these women sleep with prior to sleeping with me that they are so 100% successful at transmitting that STD on me. I'm a man and I always come into the sexual relationship clean, right after I have been cured. Feeling good, rid of symptoms and with all tests negative. I go to fuck first bitch and she gives it right back to me. Why is it that I come into it clean and every single one of them women gives me Chlamydia? Who are they sleeping with prior to going with me? Damn!

I think that sounds about right because if u think about it.. Based on what i read:

In women, Chlamydia Trachomatis initially attacks the cervix and the urethra. Some women may experience vaginal discharge or a burning when urinating. Most will go without any symptoms whatsoever. Later the infection spreads from the cervix to the fallopian tubes - even in this stage many women still have no symptoms; few may experience lower abdominal pain, nausea, low back pain, pain during intercourse, fever, and bleeding between menstrual periods. Whenever Chlamydia spreads past the cervix and into the woman's upper reproductive system, it may cause permanent and irreversible damage.

In men, symptoms include a discharge from the penis and a burning sensation when urinating. Burning and itching of the area around the opening of the penis can also occur. Some men experience pain and swelling in the testicles, or both.

Basically, it's a lil bit harder for women to detect it, than it is for men so it's like, EXAMPLE: a woman and a man have sex, she has it and gives it to the man, he sleeps with another woman and she gets it..

Now that's 2 women and 1 man infected.. He gets symptoms, gets treatment to get rid of it but the 2 women don't because they don't know they have it.. Now those 2 infected women sleep with a man and get them infected, they pass it on to 2 more women...They get symptoms and clear it up.. It's actually like a domino effect, chain reaction kinda thing.. Just my opinion though, if any of that made sense..lol..

the question is what is our government going to do about the wide spread of Chlamydia in Alberta. I had very little information about the infection prior to this thread. I looked up stuff on internet so I'm much more educated on the issue, but hell... if it's reaching epidemic proportions, shouldn't there be some major education for the public going on? How many people have not heard of Chlamydia and are not aware of dangers and keep spreading it on? Something has got to be done. I don't remember ever seeing an infomercial about Chlamydia. How come there's so little done about it if it's such a wide spread infection?

People are well aware of AIDS and HIV virus - which is a job well done, but it shouldn't stop there.

Following graph is from Europe. But it just shows how as the years go by there's always more and more positive results of Chlamydia among people who get tested. It's scary:

I had it confirmed from Sexually Transmitted Disease Centre at the Capital Health clinic in Edmonton (downtown on Jasper avenue and 111 St) that they accept everybody there even if you don't have Alberta health care card. Once again, health care card is not required for the STD check and treatment at the STD Centre in Edmonton. It's in the Capital Health clinic, just walk inside, go up those 4 step in the lobby, turn left and it's at the end of the hallway. They accept everybody there.

Check this out --> www.inspot.org

it's a website form which you can send someone an anonymous card that they have an STD. That's when you know you have infected someone after an unfortunate one night stand or something and you have no guts (or means) to bring it to light. You can do it in a sneaky cute way. I think we should get Mark to create something like that on our website so we can start sending people little anonymous e-cards that they have Chlamydia.

but how do you prevent abuse of such card sender? People would find it entertaining to scare the living shit out of their friends with anonymous notices that they may have been exposed to an STD - because it's anonymous so I could technically send it to anyone I know and they would kill themselves trying to think who of the people they've slept with had sent it to them. It would be funny for me, but I don’t think it’s funny for the receiver. Nobody wants to hear about being infected. Not even as a jest. You could actually scare the living shit out of them cause they could think you gave them AIDS

I'm happy to report that I was successfully healed and am no longer infected with Chlamydia. After the treatment I went to get a thorough STD test done and everything came back negative, including Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, HIV, Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, etc. Feels good to be clean, but damn, how long is it going to last - obviously no longer than until I have my next sex.

Based on the fact that every woman in Alberta has Chlamydia, the outlooks are pretty sad for me. I think I'm just gonna stick to jerking off so I stay STD free at least for a while. I'm seriously embarrassed already. Having to go see a doctor on regular basis because I get re-infected with Chlamydia the moment I have sex after having been cured is sad.

BTW - Edmonton's STD clinic is also warning about Syphilis outbreak in Edmonton. As if Chlamydia was not enough, Syphilis is on a major rise in the city of champions as well. Damn we are one STD infected region here.

Anyway kids, there’s one more completely STD free person in Alberta right now – myself (a rare breed). I’m not gonna lie to myself believing it’s gonna stay that way for too long. Not based on my previous experiences. Everybody should go out and get tested. Doctors will much rather deal with massive pre tests than deal with outbreaks like we’re experiencing at the moment in capital region of Alberta. It’s not good for you either, if you’re carrying this crap in you. Go get tested, heal yourself and enjoy sex as a healthy person.

Thanks for reading

I was watching CNN today and they had a report on STD down in the states. They say that one in four teen girls has an STD. A quarter of all girls in the USA will have had a sexually transmitted disease by the time they reach 20 years of age.

They also said that it gets worse with African American teens, where one half is infected with venereal diseases. It's not only Alberta, STDs are out of control everywhere. It's time to start addressing this insanity.

Actually, this is one of my passions. I work in women's health care (labor and delivery/ postpartum specifically) and you would be flat out amazed at how many women have had an STI. This is a huge part of the reason why I don't participate in casual sex of any sort, even in a highly sexualized society.

I think part of the problem is that we have deamonized having an STD. It is seen as something shameful, and many people are under the impression that if you ignore your symptoms, they will go away. They usually do, but at what cost? Women, your fertility, your health, your life is at risk when you contract an STD. Everyone should be careful and get tested often!

That's what I see as problem too. Everyone is ashamed to admit they may have contracted an STI. People are also ashamed to get tested for STIs because they'd feel ashamed if results came back positive. People have no issues admitting they have flu, but when it comes to sexually transmitted infections nobody wants to admit they may be victims. And so it spreads like crazy.

Exactly! What is an STI, but simply an infection of the reproductive organs? I think testing should be as done as often and as easily as buying protection.

Myself, I've never had an STD that I know of. I've been tested for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea, and HIV and HPV. I think Syphilis is the only left I need to check for.

I am not sure, but guess that taking the treatment if you do not have the STI can do no harm.

If this is so, why don't they do a drive at the local schools and colleges, maybe even the local mall. Give the treatment out and get as many people to take it as possible.

This way everyone is doing it and the people who are to embarrassed to admit they have it can get treated with out having to admit to anyone.

This will especially be helpful for couples who are faithful to each other and both get tested.

Not the best solution, but it will hopefully get the numbers down a bit.

The cost might be a problem though with out it being sponsored.
