I think that sounds about right because if u think about it.. Based on what i read:
In women, Chlamydia Trachomatis initially attacks the cervix and the urethra. Some women may experience vaginal discharge or a burning when urinating. Most will go without any symptoms whatsoever. Later the infection spreads from the cervix to the fallopian tubes - even in this stage many women still have no symptoms; few may experience lower abdominal pain, nausea, low back pain, pain during intercourse, fever, and bleeding between menstrual periods. Whenever Chlamydia spreads past the cervix and into the woman's upper reproductive system, it may cause permanent and irreversible damage.
In men, symptoms include a discharge from the penis and a burning sensation when urinating. Burning and itching of the area around the opening of the penis can also occur. Some men experience pain and swelling in the testicles, or both.
Basically, it's a lil bit harder for women to detect it, than it is for men so it's like, EXAMPLE: a woman and a man have sex, she has it and gives it to the man, he sleeps with another woman and she gets it..
Now that's 2 women and 1 man infected.. He gets symptoms, gets treatment to get rid of it but the 2 women don't because they don't know they have it.. Now those 2 infected women sleep with a man and get them infected, they pass it on to 2 more women...They get symptoms and clear it up.. It's actually like a domino effect, chain reaction kinda thing.. Just my opinion though, if any of that made sense..lol..
