Angie Calgary Age: 23 Posts: 4736	Prestige title World's Ugliest Dog 2008 belongs to Gus, a hairless, three-legged, one-eyed, hairless Chinese Crested and he's a Beauty. I mean, look at him, isn't he precious? How is it that world's ugliest dogs are always cuter than world's prettiest dogs - those ugly creatures with manicured claws and fluffed fur who walk around like fucking steeds? Gus, world's ugliest dog for 2008 suffers from skin cancer and most of the time needs to be carried around by his owner - Jeanenne Teed from St. Petersburg, Florida. Signature tongue hanging out is almost a given when it comes to world's ugliest dogs (see pictures of previous winners below) - that's just how these doggies rock. The World's Ugliest Dog contest is held every year at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma, Northern California and I really need to go one day. So much beauty, I'd love to see all them gorgeous dog at one place. Gus is without doubt a beautiful dog, but previous years winners are cute as well. You compare for yourself and decide which one you like the best: Elwood - World's Ugliest Dog 2007 Archie - World's Ugliest Dog 2006 And of course blind dog Sam, popular celebrity dog, who won the World's Ugliest Dog contest 3 times in a row and died in 2005, while his reign as world's ugliest dog still lasted. anamaria Calgary Age: 22 Posts: 538	I've red that Gus, current winner or the world's ugliest dog title lost his eye in a fight with a tomcat and his leg was amputated because his skin cancer developed badly in that area and paralyzed his leg. Poor doggy, he was also rescued from an abusive home. How sad

Poor Gus has suffered from cancer and was 9 year old Gus was a three legged dog. He lost one limb to skin tumor and lost an eye in a fight with a cat. Poor thing is now at a better place where he is the most beautiful thing. Rest in Peace, Gus
