But, as a former cheerleader, I do know there is a form of cheer leading that's a dance style. Hence the jazz shoes instead of tennis sneakers. Those girls could do things you could never imagine possible. You have to be flexible for that. I know of a few people on this site that would love a bit of flexibility. XD

Most of the girls on NBA teams go through som much choreography each day in their routines of various music genres. They just don't stand there and cheer on the baselines when their team scores. Remember how Paula Abdul got her start...she was a Laker Girl before she started singing and was working with the best choreographer in the world(still to this day Miss Debbie Allen who worked with prince, Janet & Michael Jackson).
