I think everyone can agree with me that music is the ultimate outlet. Whatever you're preference is you go to that for support. Each genrre gives a different character to moods and everyone can interpret it in different ways. To one classical might be relaxing listening to the soft strings and to another it may be irritating. Another; metal might be a way to get aggression out by listening to the heavy guitars, lyrics or thunderous drums and to another it may loud noise. Whatever someone chooses we cannot bash them for liking a certain type of music because, I myself as a musician, write from the soul and thats how it should be portraid. Not as some form of making money and giving people the wrong impression. I believe the genre 'soul' should be taken out because musicians write from the soul and make people see where they're coming from. People have their favorite artists that they can relate to. I hate musicians that give their fans false hope because what they produce is fake. When I write, I write lyrics that is on my mind, not for the sake of making things up. I sing for passion, not to try and get money. Singing is like storytelling for people. It shows them what Im trying to say and let them know how I feel. But thats just me.
