Journals - Project Linus

I always enjoy finding out about a group like this either in the newspaper or online.

The project is based on the popular Charlie Brown character who always carried a blanket. The mission of Project Linus is to provide security and warmth to children who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need of love and comfort through the gift of handmade blankets made by volunteers.

There are hundreds of chapters and thousands of volunteers across the USA and it has distributed more than 3 million blankets to children since the project began in 1995.
