Journals - It's junk... but it's readable junk.

Occasionally I write, not poetry, but not your standard prose either. I'm not sure how it would be classified but usually they are just little bits of the random flow of my mind that I don't want to lose so I type them out. Some are unpleasant because it is a healthy way to deal with negative emotions but others are just thoughts that upon passing through my brain seemed for whatever reason right to me. Here are a few for absolutely no reason beyond my boredom.

Fear of Death

I have heard an expression
Died of fear
I must be close
How scared must you be
Before it kills you
So scared of life
You flee into the arms of death
Or must it be mortal fear
Ironic if the case
Dying of fear of dying

The Tales of Stones

I want to hear the tales of the stones
See with my mind
The beauty of this earth
Before people walked its surface
Constructed
Destroyed
Loved
Hated
Changed the planets face
I want to hear the tales of the stones
See a beautiful world
Untouched by us

Rainstorm

Life is a rainstorm
Each person a droplet
Unique yet matching
Cascading in beautiful harmony
Until they explode on the ground
Mingling and creating a new beauty
Mine is like a robins egg
Knocked from a tree during the storm
Falling but not belonging
And smashing but not becoming beautiful
Marring this scene of beauty until washed away

Feel their eyes
Watching
Judging
As if they know
Who you are
What you think
How you feel
They believe they do
How can anyone know another
At a glance
When so few know themselves

Night Dance

As I dance in the moonbeams
Among the windblown shadows
I feel the night
I am the night
I live for this dance
No music
No partner
Except the darkness
Cut by the moon’s beam
And blown by the wind
