Journals - She Longs for Escape Do you ever wonder how you can have all that you have and there is just this screaming inside of you "Get out! Get out! Get out!"? I have the life that most anybody I talk to wants. I'm getting married to the most wonderful boy in the world in a short month and a half, I have a good steady job, I like the people, it pays well, it's easy, there's room for advancement, I own my own home and I'm going crazy.
I just want to run away. I hate it here. I just want to drop everything. I crave this elusive idea of freedom I have. I want to do every whim that comes into my head. I want to leave at random on the first plane/train/bus to anywhere. I don't care. I let my transportation choose the way not vice versa. I want to be a gypsy. I want to laugh all the time. I want my lover to love me because he never knows what is coming around the corner and loves it! I want to have adventures. I want people to be drawn to me because I'm alive in a world that is dead. I don't want to be like the rest of the world sleep, wake up, work, sleep, wake up work. It's so monotonous. I hate that I'm just like everyone else. I hate that there is nothing that distinguishes me from the crowd, that I fit in so well. I don't want to fit it. I need to get out of here.About Bethany
Now, to write something that will not only say something about me, but be honest while not making a complete fool of myself and be interesting? That's what I call a challenge.
I suppose the main thing about me is I love drama. It is going to be my career whether I succeed or end up starving in the streets. I will be an actor.
My play was in the Fringe 2007. Bang Bang You're Dead. I miss it. Now I need a new one.
I love secrets.
I love 50's Jazz and Shakespeare. Beautiful language is easy to fall in love with. Say something to me in a beautiful way..I cannot even describe it. Guys that can sing really well are unparallelled in my books. I love art in all shapes and forms. I enjoy writing but am not that good at it. You can see some of what I write at www.myspace.com/bethanyjoyross. I tend to make a fool of myself, but it is perfectly honest. I like pretty much everyone and dislike closemindedness. If you wish me to lose alot of respect for you, one of the few ways is to lie to me. I am very idealistic. I love rain, hard rain, thunderstorms and coffee shops and bookstores and people on daytime Whyte Ave. I love old, slightly run-down things. Well-worn antiques, especially houses and furniture, you know the ones that most people think are ugly? I am probably in love with it. I love things to quickly, too easily.
I am not as innocent and naive as I look. I probably am more so.
One day I am going to run away. Hop on a train little while and not tell anybody. I will have an adventure and be free. Just go somewhere, anywhere. Just for a little while...
